iPod sort artists by surname

is there a way to have itunes sort artists by the surnames without having to manually do it one at a time?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no. You have to enter them manually under "sort artist"

Agree. I don't think there is an easy way to do it.

However, once you've done it manually, it is so much nicer if you like looking up the artist with their last name/surname.
