Hello, 1 week ago when i was doing 'sort by type' in the folder with folders and mp3s, folders were on first place, mp3s following. Now it's reversed. If i select sort by type, i get mp3s first then folders.. Is that normal?

Did you happen to click the Kind column a 2nd time, to reverse the sort?

I don't use column view, never did. I'm using icon view. Of course if i switch to column view and click twice on type column, it shows folders first.

It works in List View, as well. If Icon view is reversed, you may need to trash your plist file:
/Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

I trashed the plist file but nothing changed. I also killed the finder.app after i trashed it with killall Finder && open /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app
