Recieved this message as a response for the Canadian iTunes Card problem, I'll just the part that mattered:

I can only imagine your frustration and I want to do whatever I can in my power to ease this frustration, we like to maintain close relationships with our customers. With that said, I will be happy to refund your purchase for the iPod Touch 2.0 Software Upgrade. Please reply to me as soon as it is purchased with a credit card and at that time I will refund you for your purchase.

Are they saying that I should buy it with a credit card, and then they'll reduce the original price from $9.99 to $0.00? I'm confused.

Hmm, it appears that way.... I'm not sure though.

BTW, if you want more people to respond to a thread, give it a more specific title. Instead of, "I'm confused..." something like "Free 2.0 upgrade from Apple?" or something (I'm not feeling very creative all of a sudden :p)

Haha, sorry about that. :)

What I don't understand is what will I do with my current $20.00... if they're giving me the whole thing for free, then Apple has amazing technical support!
