I have an iMac OS 10.6.8 (despite what it says below).
In one folder I have about 1,000 files with 3 different suffixes. Can I separate them by suffix? If I can't do that how about by date created?
I know I can right click on my desk top and an "arrange by" option appears. But how about sorting inside a particular folder?
Thanks,
Stacy

You could use LIST VIEW (CMD+2) and sort by the KIND column (which you might have to enable if it is disabled, which is not the case on a standard install, via CMD+J).
