Hi people,

I've an incredibly irritating problem which I can't for the life of me figure out how to solve. It's meant that I have not been using iPhoto or Aperture on my new MacBook Pro.

I moved from a G4 Powerbook a month or so ago to a 2.4 MBP and manually added things like bookmarks, contacts and music instead of using the mac migration assistant. Music is all fine, it's now my photos that are causing the problem. I used a firewire cable to access the powerbook's harddrive and do a search for all photo's in the iPhoto library, forgetting that the thumbnails will come along for the ride too. Now i've 10,000 assorted photos on an external hard drive with duplicated thumbnail versions which is mega frustrating as I have no logical way to sort them automatically.

Now what do i do? :(

It may be a simple answer and I'll kick myself for not thinking of it (Hoping). Is there a simple method of just taking the full size images or even transfer the iPhoto library as-is to my new computer? I would really appreciate a little help on this one and thankyou to anyone to respond to my conundrum.

Cheers guys. (and gals)
