Help.

My iPhone refuses to boot up now, and upon powering up directs me to the dial SOS help page. After awhile, another pop up states that there is no SIM card present and I must do a restore with iTunes. However, when the iPhone is plugged into iTunes, it cannot be detected. The iPhone reverts back to the dial SOS help page and intermittently flashes the "please restore with iTunes" message. The odd thing is, the image capture prog on my MB recognises that iPhone is plugged in and offers to download the images. It will appear that I cannot even restore back to defaults.

This happened immediately after my iPhone froze. I attempted to install an app from Cydia, regretabbly I cant recall the name - its something to do with GPS tracking of iPhone's if it is stolen. When the iPhone froze up, I attempted to do a hard reset by pressing both the power and the Home button. What happened next is narrated above. I tried to insert another SIM card from the official carrier but the outcome is still the same. However, the SIM card when inserted into another cell phone (not an iPhone), the line works just fine.

Anyone please with similiar experiences? Please share.
