Good evening,

following a power outage (I do not know if this is it but before it worked), the restart of the mac, it turns on correctly but the arrow is frozen in the top left of the Imac screen and neither the mouse nor the keyboard works.
Details
- I am in keyboard and wired mouse
- I tested mouse and keyboard on a friend's imac, everything works perfectly
- the mouse is powered but does not act on the arrow on the screen
- the keyboard is not powered uppercase diode does not turn on
- I tested the usb ports, they seem to work
- I tested the keyboard by putting a USB extension, but nothing .....

I admit that I do not know anymore .... what to do
would anyone have an idea thank you in advance

thk you for your ideas

and I don't know how to do navram or pram reset without keyboard ...
if you have a method ?
thk you by advance

Sorry perhaps that I am not clear

I Have a keyboard but when I connect it on USB port of my IMac
the keyboard is unpowered....and I can't to do anything...

Yes, two, same result
Ok to summarize.
Your keyboard doesn't work on your iMac, but does work on another iMac.
A different keyboard doesn't work on your iMac but works elsewhere.

I'd say something is wrong with the iMac and not keyboard and you ought to call apple to have them look at it. There's really not much you can do, with a sealed computer and it since you confirmed that the USB on the iMac is not functioning correctly, they need to fix it.
