Does anybody have any links or guides to finding a version of Soulseek that will run on a mac? Or alternatively, is there a way to get access to the same soulseek network through a different program?

Thanks.

[bumping topic]

I've used a couple, but none have been as comperable as the original, native client for windows.

SoulseeX (aka: SSX) is all right. Its interface seems a bit funky for me. The upside is that the program has never crashed on me (been using it for about 4 months).

Solarseek is better interface wise. I don't remember having any problems with it. I don't recall why I use ssx more than solarseek, but neither seem to be as good as the windows native (or even nicotine for linux).

My main problem with both of the mac clients is that it takes longer to receive search results and the amount of search results is less than on the clients used on windows and linux (with the same search query).
I don't believe the search snag in the mac clients is caused by my firewall; once the transfers start, it's smooth sailing.

I'd like to know if anyone else has any other clients or preferences they'd like to share with the board. :)

regards,
keyshawn
