If I lend an item with an airtag to somebody, and they selected to “ignore tracking notifications for one day”, will it still beep after 8-24h? Or will their phone reset the noise deadline for that day (just as my phone does)?
Same question goes for choosing “indefinitely” when using family sharing.
I want to have a tracker in a car, but I don’t want it to beep when somebody borrows it with my permission. This kind of distraction for a driver can lead to a serious accident!
