Sound Board App

Hi basically im looking to learn and develop a soundboard app but im just curious if Apple still aprrove those type of apps on the App Store? I heard that these past couple of years they have been really strict about what type of apps gets approved in the app store. Is this true?

They still get through depending on what it is. Doesn't make it legal though.

For a long time I had a soundboard done unofficially.

Recently I struck a deal with the IP holders to have it up there with their endorsement.
