Sound Cards and Speakers for Mac?

I just got a G5 (2.7) and want to hook up some decent sound to it. I have the creative 7.1 speaker system already. Is there anyway to hook this up? does soundblaster make any sound cards for mac? or any other company?
Also for the Optical digital audio in plug on the G5, is there any speakers for that style of plug?
Any help would much be appreciated

can't you just go from optical to your reciever That is how i will be running my bose 6.1 system

Any good set of 5.1 speakers will have optical inputs Klipsch ProMedia GMX D-5.1 Surround Speakers and Logitech Z-5500 come to mind, or you can use a digital reciever as mentioned above or a DAC.

If you search any of the pro audio sites you'll find sound cards for Macs but these will be pro audio cards, personally I find the sound that comes out of my Macs to be great.
