Sound cuts off at 15kHz?

At about 2:15 in this video it hits 15kHz, both the external speakers on my 16" and my beatsx stop producing sound, like it just cuts off in a low pass filter. Anyone hearing the same or is it maybe caused audio compression?

Edit:
Turns out it's YouTube, need to play it in higher quality to hear above 15khz.
