sound cuts out when I start audio hijack

I bought audio hijack a month or so ago, and began to record a few of my favorite radio programs from the internet. It worked great until today, when I went to record a listen again program of Thistle and Shamrock. As soon as I pushed "record" on the audio hijack program, the audio from Thistle cut out completely. When I closed audio hijack, Thistle became audible again. Any help here? Would a different record program work? Is Thistle wanting to intentionally block the recording? Any way around it?
