Hello,

I have an early 2007 MBP, 2.16 C2D, 2 gb ram. running 10.5.7, but this problem was on 10.5.6 as well. I had no issues prior to 10.5.6, so I feel this is a software issue-perhaps not, let's see...

My problem is that when I run multiple programs such as Adobe Indesign, Mail, Word, Safari and itunes at the same time my music skips and gets distorted. No problems with speed of computer or anything, just the sound. Problem is only fixed by restarting the computer, then everything will be fine for about 30 minutes. I have eliminated itunes as the problem, i tried playing some sound off the internet (youtube) and it also has this problem.

I do have applecare (about time I use it?) , but I would like to have a better idea of what to tell them. Any tests I can perform, or has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks
