i’ve got my speakers set up with a bluetooth receiver so i can play my music from my iPhone, While i am connected to the speakers through that any sound my phone makes come out the speakers, i have my record player set up in another room and am trying to wirelessly play a record out my speakers.

Could i plug my record player into the iPhones headphone jack using a RCA cable and have it play out the speakers using the bluetooth device?

No. The headphone jack is not an input. There might be something that allows you to input it through the dock connector though.

Apple will be surprised to learn this!

They should probably stop selling headphones with the mic built in.

It would require an app and I don't know of any that do this. That does not, however, mean one doesn't exist. But that should be your next step: Searching the app store using keywords and see if you get lucky.

But to be honest, I don't have high hopes. It's kind of an odd thing and I wouldn't be surprised if no one has made an app that does this. Even if you DO find one, it won't be stereo, so I suggest looking for other solutions that skip the iPhone completely.
