I have a Macbook Pro, core 2 Duo (2.66 GHz) with 4 GB ram. I did a clean install of Boot Camp / Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium edition a few days ago.

I have installed the latest Boot Camp drivers from Boot camp's update (and specifically made sure 3.1 was in there as that mentions lots of Windows 7 specific stuff). So far everything's working good, except having some sound issues.

When streaming music from rhapsody.com (as well as grooveshark.com), the music will studder and skip back a few seconds. The sound volume levels are good, and I haven't noticed this studder problem when I play Team Fortress 2, that seems to work perfectly. It could be my imagination but it seems it skips more frequently when I'm using scroll-bars in Chrome or running another medium-weight app at the same time.

I previously had XP 32-bit installed and using the same programs / behavior didn't have these sound issues (nor on OS X). I went to the Cirrus Logic support page (for CS4206A) and verified the audio driver is the latest.

Anyone have ideas on this? thx!
