Loving my new iPhone 5 but am noticing some sound problems.

1) Incoming calls has no ringtone. I changed ringtones to test. Do Not Disturb feature is OFF.

2) Dial pad has no tones when entering a phone number.

3) I don't hear a lot of sound effects like lock sounds and keyboard clicks both of which are set to ON.

Everything else works fine. I can listen to music both with or without earphones.

Anyone else having this problem? Fix?

Backup your phone. Restore as new. Then you will know if it is a hardware or software problem.

Hardware problem: Have Apple replace it
Software problem: Leave as new and sync as needed

I'm such a noob. The side silent switcher was on (orange).

I prefer that to be lock screen from rotating like my iPad!

If people are taking the time to post in a forum about issues like this. I don't want to imagine the amount of people walking out of an Apple store with their devices, just to walk back in a few minutes later with issues of that sort.

to the OP for coming back and admitting to the goof.
