Sound mutes when using whatsapp or facebook messanger while driving during video calls

I hope someone can give me an answer to this. It started like a month ago. I use whatsapp and facebook messenger for video conferencing a lot and lately whenever I drive sound mutes to the point where you can not hear what the other person says. I thought it could be app issue and I tried both messenger and whatsapp and both have same issue. My device is iPhone X. I thought that maybe an issue is with another person's device and asked them to use different device. Same problem. Sounds gets really bad. Whenever vehicle stops moving sound comes back to normal. I asked a friend of mine if he has same issue with this and he said he has this issue with his iPhone X all the time. Is there something in settings that needs to be changed? If anyone knows answer to this problem please let me know. Thank you.
