Sound not working with headphones plugged in(no red light)

All of the sudden the sound is not working when I plug in the headphones. I've seen many topics on sound not working without the headphones and the red light coming out. But for me it's the opposite.

I have 2 hard drives installed on the MBP 13", one HDD has mac the other Win8.
On the Mac HDD the sound is not working with the headphone plugged in, but works with headphones out.
On the Win8 HDD, I have the red light and the sound is not working at all.

I've tired sticking thing in there but can't seem to get it working.

Anyone have any suggestions?
