so i got my macbook in february
ever since last week whenever i listen to the sound on my mac with earphones both ears work but one ear is louder than the other

so i tried different earphones
same thing
tried another pair
same thing

so its obviously the mac

and listening to my music on my mac without headphones
only one side works well

HELP
i cant afford to buy another mac
what can i do ?

EDIT: EMBARRASING I JUST LOOKED IN SOUNDS
THE BALANCE WAS OFF FOR SOME REASON

I was going to suggest looking at your balance, then I saw your edit. Pretty good story though good for a few laughs.
