Hello all,

I'm having a bit of a problem with my 1.5Ghz 12'' Powerbook G4. I got it last september, and I'm having a little trouble with the sound. When I do the grab function (Apple+Shift+4), I hear a little popping sound and the sound goes out for anywhere from 5 mins to a whole day. I haven't done anything irregular. Please help.

Thanks!

the grab makes the sound of a camera. the sound activates (or wakes) the audio in the pb. the audio in the 12" pb is faulty. other known problems are issues when changing volume and the audio balance becoming panned hard left/right on its own. my 1.5 does this as did my Rev A 867mhz. i've grown to ignore it. check the Apple boards, you are not alone. i don't think there is a fix anywhere on the horizon though.
