just got a Vizio 2.1 soundbar and wondering what is the setup I can use. I am looking to connect the new 4k apple tv and a directv genie. Can I run HDMI cables from the ATV and genie to my LG 4K TV and run optical between TV and soundbar? Thanks

Yes you can do that. That is exactly what I do and I have those same things.
