Soundbooth CS4 Lagging in Lion

Is anyone else experiencing this? I have a brand spanking new iMac as my new computer at work, but when I try to play audio files in Soundbooth to go though them and edit there's a 10-15 second delay after I hit play before it actually plays, and then another 10-15 second delay after I pause it. Really, there's a delay with everything I try to use it for.

Any ideas/suggestions? I'd really like to go back to it instead of Audacity.

I have never used sound booth, but from the sound of it I'd recommend checking your cache and buffer settings in the DAW. That could be causing the delay.

Right on the money! I cleared my cache in Soundbooth and it worked like a charm. Thank you!
