Some of my sounds e.g. when I play windows media files and some Quicktime files are sent to my bluetooth headset while some are sent to my computer speakers. I suspect a sound pref. folder may be corrupted. Is there a way a can delete this and put another fresh one in its place?

I had similar trouble with MSN, it was misbehaving so I deleted the files from its pref. folder and installed a fresh copy and it fixed the problem. Can I do the same here? Thanks

Computer speakers are........the internal ones on which Mac, or are they external. Your Mac is probably confused as to which it is suppose to play though, and if the bluetooth are within range and have a good connection they get used.
