hey guys, i bought the soundsticks 3 about a year ago. unfortunately, a month after the warranty has expired, the speaker started to go crazy on me.

main problem: speaker works on/off periodically

basically, the speaker works totally fine, and then all of a sudden when i unplugged the 3.5mm jack from my mbp, it stops working. i unplug the power source, and reconnect everything again and it worked!

after a couple of days, i unplugged the 3.5mm jack again and brought my mbp out. when i came back and plugged in the jack, it stopped working. i did the same thing as before, and it just wouldn't work.

i went down to get a glass of water, and when i came up, i tried again and it started working.

bear in mind, my speaker has never stopped working when it's plugged in. it's only when i unplug the 3.5mm jack, and plug it back in does it screw up periodically(sometimes it works and sometimes not).

please help. i tried bringing back to the singapore dealer, and the guy tells me they cant repair it. they said they can give me a 30% discount on my next purchase. wtf.
