I am trying to use soundtrack to edit some audio clips from Logic. I am following these steps:
In Logic Pro, select the track you wish to edit in Soundtrack Pro.
Choose Options > Audio > Open in Soundtrack Pro (or press ShiftW).
A copy of the original audio file is made, and a new audio file project is created in Soundtrack Pro. The new audio file project is automatically named the name of the sent track, with the file extension .stap.
Edit the audio file project in the File Editor.
In this case I am manually silencing some sections as well as using a noise gate.
In Soundtrack Pro, do one of the following:
Choose File > Save
Everything seems to have worked. But....
When I return to logic, it recreates the over view of the mp4 but it doesn't reflect the changes. The background noise is still there. Any suggestions? Thanks for any pointers
I am using Logic Pro 9 and Soundtrack Pro 2
