I'm having trouble getting Soundtrack Pro 1.1 to input audio through my M-Audio Duo USB sound card (latest driver installed). The device shows up but when selected it will not show a signal in the level indicator and renders the record button inactive, you can press it and it goes red but the recording clock dosn't tick over and the timeline marker dosn't move. I've double checked all settings in Soundtrack Pro, System Preferences and Audio Midi setup and it's all set up fine, infact the sound card works perfectly with Garageband, which i'm currently having to use to record with before i bring everything back into Soundtrack and then back to FCP again.
All this is taking place on a 2 GHz MacBook with 1GB ram under OS 10.4.10.
I've contacted M-Audio and they say it's a fault with Soundtrack Pro as the card is working fine (which it is), I've also contacted Apple but because I'm on a Studio Pro volume license i don't get any help unless i want to shell out more cash  again.
Does anyone have a fix for this or even know what the problem might be?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
