I'm in the midst of a huge project & Soundtrack Pro has suddenly stopped working. Worked fine for a year and a day, now with no warning it hangs when I try to open it, displaying its splashscreen. I can't open any aiff or stap files -- actually, can't open anything. Oddly, it allows me to quit without using Force Quit, so I guess it's not fully "hung."
I have Final Cut Studio Pro, but I don't have the $800 support option, & Apple won't talk to me without it.
I suspected a preference file was corrupted, but trashing com.apple.soundtrackpro,plist didn't do anything. I'm reluctant to trash my Final Cut Pro preference file, but maybe I should try that....??
I've tried trashing the Soundtrack Pro app & reinstalling from the original disk(s). No luck. Anything else I should trash?
I've reinstalled the update so the STP version is current (1.0.3).
Any ideas?? I'm planning to get the crossgrade but the delay will really hurt me on this....
Help!!!
