I put headphones down, and my left headphone fell in some sour cream on my plate lol, and wiped it off. And I put it in, and i can barely hear through it. How can I fix it?

Replace them. Same thing happened to me. I was eating some cereal and my right headphone fell out of my ear and into my bowl. Although after letting it dry, it seems the sounds is a little better.

I'd guess you got some sour cream in the mesh, maybe try blowing into it to dislodge some of the sour cream bits. You could also try to take apart the headphones, although I'm not sure they will break down into very many pieces.

Worst case scenario, just dip the other one in sour cream to even them out

Those headphones are worth $1.

They may be worth $1 but apple charge like $40 or something to buy them.

OP: I think you should just get a new pair of headphones even though replacements are expensive it's not SUCH a big cost and it's probably not worth the hassle of trying to fix it. Maybe seeing you might have to buy a new pair you might want to get a better pair of headphones.

Maybe take this as an opportunity to replace your headphones with some decent ones (I assume you were using Apple headphones) or see if Apple will swap them out for free.

For next time, may I suggest a thin protective layer of chives?

Regards,
Tom

If your only other option is to buy a new set, try giving it a rubbing alcohol bath. That fixes my spill issues most of the time.

Also, I've accidentally put my headphones through the wash a few times and they came out fine.

you can take the rubber band off around the headphone, pop the screen off.
