Space Black Apple Watch & Space Gray iPhone X Pairing

For anyone that owns both devices (or have seen them side-by-side), how well do they pair together? I'm planning on upgrading from an Apple Watch Series 2 to a Series 4, and have been pondering on purchasing a Space Black model to match my iPhone X. It seemed that the Space Black Apple Watch closely matched the Jet Black iPhone 7 at the time, so I wonder how approximately that remains true for the Space Gray finish on the iPhone X?

Bluetooth connectivity works fine for my black S4 watch & black Xs
