Since Apple rid the world of the black/slate iPhone, do you think they'll do the same with the next iteration of the iPad Mini? If the iPad 5 adopts design similar to the Mini, do you think it'll also be restricted to Space Gray and the black/slate combo will be gone from Apples lineup?
How about a gold iPad Mini/5?

I know this is all speculative, but I just figured I'd see what others think.

yes space grey would be added to replace slate model
i dont think gold will be there for any other category .

I suspect the mini and the iPad 5 will both come in white/silver and black/grey. I think the all black is gone for those just like it is for the 5S.

I hope so I like the space grey , I love space movies
It has that moon look

Why? It makes the blacks look much deeper when they aren't surrounded by pure black.
Also, less finger prints.

I personally like having the black with black bezel, I think it gives me a more immersive experience. One may think that the contrast of the white makes the screen look better, but I think it's the opposite; it distracts

It looks that way, with space gray also replacing black/slate on the nano and touch. So my new iPhone 5s, my new iPad 5 and my new nano will all be space gray. Maybe I should buy a dark gray wallet after my current black wallet kills itself.:)

Hmmmm! Quite an unanswered question.

I'm gonna aim for the Gold 5s on Friday, but then it won't match my iPad mini (unless they release a Gold in October).
((Maybe they'll update the mini without retina, but add a Gold to compromise?!))

If all I did was watch videos I'd agree with you, but the majority of what I use my iPad for has either colorful or light colored backgrounds, I find the white far less distracting. White also hides fingerprints better.

Haha!!! Oh the irony considering your forum name!

;)

I've used both (not for iPad, but iPhones), but never owned a white one per say. Just used my friends for a few hours (in white). It's definitely personal preference, I was just stating my side. Also I couldn't care less about fingerprints. I would take a black/slate iPad mini any day over a white/silver, even if it meant finger prints. Cus I just like the color scheme

Military colors

Apple may want to consider colors suitable for Military Operations in Urban Terrain.
