Just wondering if the finish on the Space Grey/Gray Aluminium watch is the same as iPhone 6?

Texture wise is it as smooth? and generally the same colour?

I can't seem to find any videos where they show this watch model in detail.

I would think that the aluminium finish of the Apple Watch will be nearly identical to the one used on the iPhones.

Agreed. But the photos I have seen so far show the apple watch being darker.

It looks to be the same or very close depending on the images I've seen.

I just hope it is more scratch resistant than the iPhone.

If the 'Aluminium' video on the Apple website is to be believed, it should be more scratch resistant.

However, until it's released we don't know.

That and the limited bands are making me think Stainless Steel. But then stainless steel is SO shiny!

The renders are meaningless, but real life pictures of the Space Gray Sport model appear much darker than the Space Gray on the iPhone, which is almost silver.

The Space Gray model puts you off? It's the cheesy-colored straps that put me off (they look like iPhone 5c). I'd rather get the Space Gray if I'm considering the Sport.

Yeah. Too black. Disappointed.

Sure, the straps on the others are awful. But my plan is to buy a black strap for a silver aluminium watch. Or just trade up to the SS with black strap.
