This was just released, but it seems like an pretty high price point. Has anyone played this yet and is it worth it?

I haven't played it yet but for a game like this (well known and made by Taito), I can't imagine it being much less. iPad games, quality games, are even more than this. If it were $10 I would say it was a ripoff considering it's not graphics intensive. I mean, it is Space Invaders after all.

I may pick up it sometime myself.

Hmmm... I see $4.99 in the app store. Still kinda steep, but in line with Pac-Man, I suppose. I'm going to wait for an iPad version of Infinity Gene instead.

As the excellent Galaxians was only released a few days ago for 59p (99 cents I guess) then personally I consider space invaders to be very overpriced.
