Spaces/Desktops and battery life.

On Lion does have more spaces and desktops drain batter life? I don't mean switching between desktops/spaces just having 2-3 spaces opens.
 
No. Having more things using the CPU and GPU processing power does. An extra desktop is just another number in an array. It's irrelevant when it comes to battery life--just like having two pictures in a pages document is irrelevant.
