Hi,
probably a stupid question but I can't figure it out. I'm a mac newbie (got my MBP ome days ago) and it looks like the F8 key to show spaces has no effect. This key is correctly bound to this action but it doesn't work.

I configured the spaces to show up if I go with the mouse to the upper left corner of the screen and this works fine.

I also tried to seting another key for the spaces but no effect. It's not the bad cos i anyway use the mouse but Im wondering what's going on.

Thanks,
Tex

oups I've just found it. it is fn+F8 :) It looks like hitting F* without the fn is actually the functions like brightness, sound ..

Use all F1,F2 etc. keys as standard function keys

This can be changed in System Preferences | Keyboard & Mouse | Keyboard - check 'Use all F1,F2 etc. keys as standard function keys'.
