Here's a strange issue that I've encountered. I was a heavy user of Spaces in Snow Leopard. I had 4 spaces that I constantly used and had specific applications set to open in a specified space once launched.
Lion handles Spaces differently from SL, and I have become accustomed to the changes, but I have encountered a situation that may be a bug in Lion. Upon login, there are always 4 blank Spaces open. I thought this might be attributed to the application launch location specifications that I had set up in SL prior to the upgrade, but I have assigned all application to "none" under the options in the dock in Lion, yet there are always 4 Spaces.
This wouldn't be a huge problem except that those empty Spaces somehow get thrown in the middle of active Spaces on the left and right. It's a weird issue, but has anyone else encountered this? Am I destined to do a clean install to avoid this issue?
Thanks!
