Was wondering how do I get the spaces application in to my doc, its currently up in the right hand corner,

Its in the Utilities folder, which is in your applications folder. Grab it and drag it on down.
Mine is in the Applications Folder. I'm sure that's where I found it originally. (OS 10.5.8)
What is in the upper right corner? That's where my Spotlight thingy is. But, in the menu bar to the left of the date, and other dodads, I have a Spaces thingy that shows the number of the active Space lets me pick another one to go to.
(Sorry, no time to look up the proper names, and I don't remember them!)
