Just behind you
Hi all,

I am currently using gSync to synchronize my iCal to my Google apps calenar. It simply works perfectly great and it only costs like $12

Now I am looking for a way to synchronize my contacts that would force Google's stupid address to be updated with my local Apple address book. I hate how Gogle automatically adds contacts behind my back that's utterly stupid.

I heard that SpanningSync is working on a contact sync feature. Has anyone tested it? What about BusySync, is it good?

Thank you

I used both Busysync and Spanningsync in trials... but have switched over to using Plaxo for syncing iCal and Gcal because it is free. I haven't used it to sync contacts with Google, but I believe this is an option. So far it works reasonably well for me. It might be worth checking out.

i'm in the same boat too.
take a look at
http://rolfje.wordpress.com/2008/05/03/busysync-vs-spanning-sync/

now i'm using gsync, but i need also contacts syncing feature
i've also a mobileme subscription
and frankly don't understand if with spanningsync (that seems better over busysync) is possible to syncronize all our data (calendars and contacts) ota.
for example using 2 different iphone we need to syncronize them through itunes to allow spanning sync to syncronize with google calendar and contacts ?
anyone ?

Right now, I prefer Spanning sync.

the new ver 2.0 works very stable and accurate.

+1

Researching into Spanning Sync, looks like a real winner. Going to migrate our small biz (4-5 of us) off of hosted Exchange and move us to Google Apps Premium + Spanning Sync. :]
