Does it have to be 61W minimum or could I use a smaller one ?. I don't care shorter charging times as far as it doesn't damage the computer. Thanks Last edited: Dec 6, 2016

You can use a smaller capacity charger but it may nit be able to increase the charge while using the MacBook at the same time (only overnight) You can always buy a charger from a reputable vendor such as the new Innergie charger (45W, USBC cable included)
