I'm switching from T-Mobile to AT&T since I ordered the 3GS. I have a spare T-Mobile/Nokia phone and an unlock code for it which was given to me by T-Mobile.

My plan is to use this spare phone on AT&T when I'm going somewhere I don't want to bring my iPhone, such as the beach or when I'm working on my car.

Question 1) The T-Mobile rep told me to have the AT&T sim card in the T-Mobile phone when I do the unlock. Will this have any effect at all on the iPhone? or should I use my T-Mobile sim card while I still have their service?

Question 2) Will I be able to swap the AT&T/iPhone sim card to-and-from the unlocked spare phone without any problems?

Kind of dumb questions...I assume this will work but I want to be sure before I unlock the phone using the iPhone sim card and screw something up. Thanks!
