Sparrow mail app slow and slugish in Maverick

I always used and liked Sparrow mail app

But in last days it's very slow, sometime the rainbow ball appears, and, i'm not totally sure but i think this behaviour is connected to Maverick update...


Anyone having the same issues? Any idea on how to resolve them?
