I create a password protected sparse disk image but it never asks for a password ( after initially) even if I eject it and try to remount it, it just remounts without asking for a password....and I'd like my pr0n in my dock, but cant have it there with no password

the first time you accessed it, did you click "add password to keychain"? That would be your problem.

Did you uncheck "save password to keychain" the first time you entered your pw?

btw you can open Keychain Access app in your Utilities folder and delete the saved pw in case you didn't know.
