"Spartacus" Prototype TAM on local craigslist

Hello all,

So I, as a fellow collector, have been searching around on my Craigslist for older Macs. There've been a few I've found, but this one caught my eye:

So this guy has an EVT version of the TAM - selling for $2000. At the time I don't have the spare funds for it, but it looks interesting.

What do you think? Is the price reasonable (considering they retailed for $7,500 and it does boot 9.2)?

I won't say what I think it is worth, but I will say that it is going to be on the list of more rare items you will find. Always loved the TAM.

A guy from Canada has been trying to sell a prototype TAM on eBay for a few months now... guessing it's the same one!

He started asking around $3,000... no buyers... has relisted and dropped the price a few times - currently up again for US$2499.

From the pics, looks pretty genuine... The keyboard is different - not the same colour.

I'd love it... My TAM has seen better days.
