Spatial audio in 11.1 update?

But I've tried some Apple Original content on the TV app on my iMac with AirPods Pro in, and can't hear it. It seems odd that Apple would enable it for the AirPods Max but not the Pro.

Has anyone else gotten this to work, with either AirPods model?

I think they messed up the article. Apple support documents imply that only i(Pad)OS supports spacial audio.
