My mouse has sporadically spazzed out before but not like this. For the last few hours my mouse jumps all across the screen, creating dozens of new folders on my desktop and then opening them. Pausing Videos I'm trying to watch. Please help me.

My hands are no where near the mouse as this Happens (though it sometimes works better if I hover my hand over it. Sometimes.)
I've just cleaned it.
I'm having this problem both with a trackpad and a USB mouse
The MacBook is on a flat surface and there's a notebook fan under it so it is cool, clean and on a flat surface.

I've restarted the computer and reset the PRAM. None of this had worked.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you kindly!!

Yes, I have a trackpad and a USB plug in mouse that I bought today because of this tracking problem. The curser jumps on its own regardless of what mouse I'm using. It jumps around when I'm not even touching the computer. It jumps and clicks on its own.

Ok well the internal trackpad and keyboard are on a different hub to the external devices so if confined to the external devices it looks like you have an issue with the USB external hub.

Workaround is to use a BT mouse and or trackpad.

Not sure but I suspect the USB hubs will be on the logic board itself....
