I know this isn't the best place to ask this question, but today I noticed that my speakers have a buzz/hum sound coming from them. The speakers I have are the Logitech X-240 with a subwoofer. The speakers are hooked up to the subwoofer, which is hooked up to a sound base that is connected to my MacBook. The hum sound is loud and annoying and I was wondering if anybody knew how I could get rid of it.

Thanks.

Cut off the ground prong on the plug.

Edit- I think I should clarify. You will almost always hear some amount of buzz from your speakers. If the buzz is loud at a low sound level, I would try the above mentioned task.

If you don't feel like doing that, you can (A) strategically unplug things from your computer and see what is causing the buzz or (B) turn off your speakers until you need to use them.
