Speaker damage

i dropped my iPhone 5s into gravy. I cleaned it off and it seemed fine but when I tried to play music it came out funny and sounds kind of echoey. How do I fix it?? Thanks!

If you're able... take it apart and clean the residue off the speaker and wherever else it got into the phone. See the take apart instructions at www.ifixit.com. If you don't wish to do it yourself, take it to a competent cell phone repair service.
