everything is perfect on my glassbook, screen has no dead pixels, battery covers tight... my function keys are tilted a little, but not bad, so I don't want to exchange it.

but I seem to have a blown speaker... at normal volume the right side is always distorting and was curious if this is normal macbook behavior or if I received a bad speaker.

if you turn on a TV show, where someone is talking, and turn the volume all the way up, do you hear any distortion?

I've played music w. preamp turned to +8 and listened to movies at max volume and have no distortion in my speakers.

The speakers are definitely an upgrade compared to previous MB's.

hmmm, darn, so I have to exchange it.

I returned my first glassbook for this reason. Even at mid volume I could hear crackling coming from my left speaker. It was really annoying considering I wasnt even trying to blast the drivers.
