Ever since having my iPhone, I randomly get feedback on my speakers. I never had this happen before and it happens only when the iPhone is on / near my desk. Has anyone else had this happen? Or is there anything I can do about it?

Yup, it's called "GSM buzz" or simply EM interference. Basically, it is the iPhones signals interfering with the speakers. You can try Ferrite beads (Google it, also, coincidentaly, Gizmodo has an article about this today).
