Hi,

I've just noticed that my left speaker grill (on my 15" MBP C2D) has popped out in the middle. I just got the computer back from the Apple store because I got the screen replaced.

Can someone tell me what to do? Will it snap back into place if I push it? Does it require glue? Help!

Thanks a lot!

how has it popped out in the middle? like on the edge?

post a pic, then we can help.

It's popped in the middle of the speaker part of the case. The plastic edge is level-- it's the metal part that's raised. It's only raised for about 1.5 inches and then it goes back into the plastic edge like usual.

I tried pushing it down, but it's not snapping back into place. Does anyone know how these two pieces (the plastic edge and metal grille) fit together?

Is there a chance that something underneath the grille is pushing the grille up? What component would that be? Can I fix this?

the left i/o board is directly underneath the speaker grille along with the ambient sensor/left speaker. Have the apple store fix it. Sometimes it sticks up if they didnt route the wires correctly..
